Mary Smith

Mary advises clients on a range of renewable energy transactions with a focus on project development matters, including offtake agreements, engineering, procurement and construction contracts, equipment supply agreements and operation and maintenance agreements. Mary’s work spans utility-scale solar, wind and energy storage projects.
Mary’s path to clean energy law started on the engineering side. Before law school, she spent several years as a process design and project engineer in the energy and chemical industries. She has pursued a legal career with a genuine passion for the energy transition and moving to a more sustainable future.
Outside the office, Mary spends her time outdoors with her husband and son, exploring together as a family. She’s also an avid reader, rarely without a book in progress, and lover of crossword puzzles.
