THE CLEAN ENERGY COUNSEL DIFFERENCE

Clean Energy Counsel attorneys apply extensive expertise in solar, wind and other renewables to bring your legal issues to cost-effective, clever, and clear resolution.

We’re not a traditional law firm. We don’t have an expensive office, and we definitely don’t have a fancy art collection.

Instead, we focus on the elements that matter: quality, cost, and efficiency.

We’re a distributed law practice. This means we leverage cloud-based technology to collaborate anywhere, anytime, instantly. Your fees cover attorney hours, not expensive real estate, administrative overhead, or other costs that don’t directly address your legal concerns.

We provide the high quality, specialized legal service you require at rates that traditional brick and mortar law firms can’t accommodate. Our model is as sustainable and clean as yours.

WHO WE ARE

We are seasoned renewable energy veterans.  We've practiced law as partners and senior attorneys at some of the biggest and best law firms in the country where we gained deep experience on a broad range of complex energy projects and transactions.

We’ve also served as general counsel and senior attorneys at industry leading renewable energy companies, including SunEdison, BrightSource, Fotowatio Renewable Ventures (FRV), and Southern California Edison.  Our experience as in-house attorneys enables us to better understand and appreciate the needs of our clients.

Now we work together as Clean Energy Counsel. Through our direct experience, we understand what general counsel and in-house legal departments require, and we are quick to help companies lacking legal experts on staff.
