Matthew Braich

Matt's roots in the Pacific Northwest and his background in ethics helped him appreciate the need to accelerate the transition to renewable energy. Today, his practice focuses on the real estate work that moves clean energy projects forward.
Matt has advised clients on a range of real estate matters, including acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, development, and financing of commercial properties. In recent years, he has specialized in infrastructure transactions, representing clients from letter of intent through closing. He has extensive experience drafting and negotiating purchase agreements, leases, easements, and other transaction documents, as well as identifying and resolving title, survey, zoning, and environmental issues. Matt takes a practical, business-minded approach to solving problems and getting deals across the finish line.
Before becoming a lawyer, Matt earned a Ph.D. in philosophy, where he focused on issues in science and ethics.
Outside the office, Matt enjoys watching movies, playing golf, and exploring his adopted hometown of Houston, TX with his wife, Amy, daughter, Lucy, and dog, Deebs.
