Clean Energy Counsel Advises Advantage Capital on $412 Million Community Solar Financing with Dimension Energy

Clean Energy Counsel, LLP recently represented Advantage Capital in its $176 million tax equity investment with Dimension Energy as part of a $412 million community solar project financing package. The portfolio includes 25 projects totaling 134 MWdc across Illinois, Maine, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, and Virginia, and is expected to provide subscribers with at least 10% savings on their energy bills.

The transaction also included MUFG as lead debt syndicator, alongside First Citizens Bank, ING, National Bank of Canada, Cadence, and Siemens. This landmark financing represents a major step forward in expanding access to clean, affordable energy while driving economic benefits through job creation and community investment across multiple states.

The Clean Energy Counsel team was led by partner Zach Crowley and tax counsel Jonah Brotman, and was organized by Tyler Quintero and Claire Ferguson, together with efforts from Anisha Chheda, Shane Devins, Aretha DiClemente, Meghan Gabriel, Emily Hager, Shae Harvey, Michael Howell, Brandon King and Brett Martino.
