Simon Engler
Attorney
Simon began working in energy and climate in 2018, as a researcher and writer at Climate Central, a climate science and communications organization. Before joining Clean Energy Counsel, he was a policy advisor for international climate finance in Germany's foreign ministry, the Federal Foreign Office, where his work focused on policies to support investment in the energy transition in low- and middle-income countries.
At CEC, Simon counsels clients on transactions in the renewable energy sector, with a particular focus on the development of renewable energy projects.
Simon is fluent in German. He likes studying languages, cooking Chinese food, and reading novels.
