Nancy Cruz
Attorney

Nancy represents a diverse range of clients, including developers, private offtakers, and public utilities, in the transactional aspects of power and renewable energy development. Her practice spans a broad mix of resources, including solar, wind, battery energy storage systems, geothermal, and renewable natural gas. She advises on the negotiation of complex project development and offtake agreements and supports corporate and finance transactions through regulatory due diligence.

In addition to her transactional work, Nancy advises clients on federal and state regulatory compliance and permitting matters before the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission and state public utility commissions. Her approach to the energy transition is informed by a commitment to climate justice and a focus on ensuring that the shift toward renewable resources is both sustainable and equitable.
