Garrett Brann

Garrett’s commitment to decarbonization and advancing clean energy solutions is rooted in a lifelong connection to the outdoors. Growing up on the coast of Maine, Garrett spent much of his childhood exploring New England’s mountains and waterways, which instilled in him a lasting awareness of the impacts of climate change on local communities and ecosystems.
In his work as a project finance and development attorney, Garrett advises sponsors and financing parties in debt, tax equity, and tax credit financings of utility-scale solar and storage projects, distributed generation portfolios, community solar projects, and carbon removal initiatives. He has experience negotiating PPAs, energy storage agreements, and other key development contracts for clean energy developers and has led real estate diligence for acquisitions of renewable energy portfolios.
Garrett enjoys spending his free time outside—running, hiking, telemark skiing, cycling, playing tennis, and swimming. He is an avid reader of science fiction and loves blueberry crisp.
