Alexis Davis
Attorney
Alexis developed a passion for sustainability and environmental advocacy early in her life. Her fellowship at Howard University School of Law's Environmental Justice Center deepened that commitment and set her on a path toward a career in renewable energy, driven by a belief that clean energy is a powerful catalyst for achieving environmental justice.
In her practice, Alexis represents lenders, investors, borrowers, and sponsors in equity and debt financings, including tax and preferred equity financings, project acquisitions, tax credit transfers, and construction to term, syndicated, bridge, and back-leverage debt financings across a variety of industries, including C&I and utility-scale solar, wind, battery, and biomass.
Prior to joining Clean Energy Counsel, Alexis was an Associate in the Projects and Energy Transition group at Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld LLP and an Associate in the Project Finance group at Foley & Lardner LLP.
When Alexis is not working, she enjoys playing basketball, reading, walks through the city with her labradoodle Roxie, and trying out new restaurants.
