Ann has been an associate in the energy practices of two prominent AmLaw 100 law firms, where she has helped companies including Vestas Wind Systems, SolarCity, and Calpine finance, develop, buy, sell and manage energy projects.

Ann’s work has included:

  • representing a solar power developer in the negotiation of master development, EPC, financing and power purchase agreements; and

  • representing the world’s largest manufacturer of wind turbine generators in transactions for the supply, installation, commissioning and servicing of more than three dozen wind energy generating facilities throughout the U.S. and Canada;

  • assisting an international manufacturer of wind turbine generators with the development of template Purchase and Sale, Warranty and Service and Maintenance Agreements for use in the U.S. and Canada;

  • assisting a national private energy company with the decommissioning of a natural gas-fired power plant.

Prior to practicing law, Ann spent five years at Gap Inc. as an international sourcing and supply chain strategist, working with offices across the globe to re-design business processes and decision-making throughout the supply chain. This experience has highlighted for Ann the need to help clients achieve a realistic balance between business and legal objectives.
